[19 Apr 2005|10:33am] I have discovered Pretty Brush This means that more then ever I need to clean out my brushes, because when the whole screen is covered in a "drop down" menu when you go to open a brush, and that's only half of them, it's not convenient. Still, I'm going to have fun with these. I've also got to brushize some image packs. My mum went to get wax strips! Whee! And got dinner with Katie tonight. [02 Apr 2005|02:26pm] [ mood | Hungover ] The housewarming was fun, I got wasted. Saw Sarah Wise of all people. I made the mistake of drinking this punch made with distilled rice alcohol. Usually, I remember things that happen when I'm drunk. I don't remember much of last night. We played "Goon of fortune". I drank beer. I think I threw up, since I had vomit smudges on my jacket and bra, nothing messy really though. I stayed the night at Annan's. My ex from highschool took care of me. I met a bunch of people who were in Thailand/Asia when the tsunami hit. I got home and my dad cooked me a hangover breakfast. Everyone went out and I stayed home and watched "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" since I couldn't go to the video store in my PJs and it was the only thing with Johnny Depp in it in the house. I'm convinced that it's Leonardo DiCaprio's best performance. His acting is good in "The Aviator", but he just looks like a boy, I know it's not his fault he's got a baby face, but it really works against him in "The Aviator". I spent the movie imagining Juliette Lewis was Pauley Perrette, because Gilbert Grape is so Louis. I'm even tempted to write fanfiction, but I can't think of a good replacement for Mrs Carver aka the bored housewife. I want to include her because in my mind she has such a big part in Gilbert's sexual development. I doubt he's ever even slept with anyone else. I was even toying with making Hestia the bored housewife in need of rescue (because kitchen sex is hot LOL). After reading Steph's post about her family, I got all reflecty and decided to share some on mine.
